A little about me...

I am Julia de Zwart, certified wedding planner and owner of Yes I do Weddings & Events. I was born in Indonesia, grew up in USA, married to a Dutch man, and have been living in the Netherlands for as long as my marriage. Having international background enables me to be multilingual. I speak English, Indonesian, Dutch, and Spanish. The latter I learn out of the love of languages and has nothing to do with my roots. :-)

So we got married in California and had our wedding at the same time, same day, and same place with my other two sisters. Yes, we had a triple international wedding, three brides and three grooms coming from three different continents. :-)  And I had the honor to organize this special triple wedding, blending diversities of style, culture, tradition, and preferences in bringing six visions to one to life. All details and planning that involved from color theme to flowers to catering to transportation, not forgetting to mention the decor, table setting, invitation, cake.....yeah.. You can imagine, right?! ;-)  I love it. 

I have a bachelor degree in finance and a master degree in international communications. Previously on my career I was an international marketing coordinator organizing MICE events (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions). Organization skill therefore has always been my strength and I have high attention to detail. People say that I have the 'it' factor that manages the unthinkable things. I think that I am just passionate of what I do and this is the key to prevail.  After all, "Do it with passion, or not at all."
